Brrreak them, shake them, slash them, smash them...
Watford's first BIG Word Festival kicked off on 14th March 2016.
Theatre On Wax was commissioned by Watford Council and Watford Museum to assemble a collection of Roald Dahl's greatest creations to parade to the performance area at the top of the town causing fun, fear, mischief and mayhem along the way.
INTU security chased naughty Oompa Loompa's around the escaltors, The Child Catcher offering certain capture of the towns children, The BFG doing his best to help whilst the Grand High Witch threatened to turn them all into mice!
Huge gratitude to Watford INTU and all of the high street for the huge support and involvement on an unforgettable day.
The streets of Watford became a tribute to the author, over 800
people descended on the town. This spectacular parade was full of colour and noise which kicked off the towns first literary festival.
